BIOGRAPHY
Trent Cade Holub first picked started playing music when he was 11 by joining his middle school band and choosing to play the alto saxophone. While learning the fundamentals of music through school, Trent picked up a guitar at 15 and has never put it down since. From playing at his church to loading up his car and driving hours to play a gig, Trent, a recent graduate from the University of Houston, loves the way music has allowed him to connect with countless people from all different walks of life.
A Jazzy Start
Small Town Roots
Born in Houston but raised in the farmlands of Needville, Texas, Trent inspires to change the way people think about music by creating narrative songs with meaningful lyrics that break down complex emotions and events into tangible thoughts. Standing firm on the foundation of Jesus, Trent strives to make people feel valued and loved everywhere he takes his music. Trent’s love for Jesus and people along with his unique music style - which can be described as a mix of rock, country, and pop - combine to create something that hasn’t been heard before fueling his motto…
MUSIC. DONE. DIFFERENTLY.
Trent released his first Debut EP On His Way in September of 2022. This EP was just a taste of the raw writing, vocal, and instrumental talent Trent has been gifted. Every track on this EP was self produced in a college dorm and every instrument was recorded by Trent with the exception of the harmonica. Despite his local local success with that EP, Trent is taking large steps into further establishing his brand to reach the masses. By recently linking up with some of the best musicians in New York, Texas, and Tennessee, Trent’s new single, How Does That Sound?, is going to pack a punch when it releases August 11th.
